The club held its first AGM on Sunday 13 September in the Golden Beach Community Hall. It was well attended by both members and the community in general. We have had a very positive first year.  You've all been asking for them! Now they're finally here. The finest GPBSLSC stubby holders ever created! Click HERE to order yours now before they run out!  Congratulations to all our new surf club members who were approved at last night’s committee meeting. We’re looking forward to meeting you all and continuing to watch our community club grow as we work towards getting flags on the beach.  The Golden Paradise Beach Surf Lifesaving Club is aware of the action of the former incorporated association. They are required by law to disburse funds and equipment.
As the new community-based club we are working to new horizons. We have a vision and the team and community to make it happen. Contact us to get involved! The events on Bondi Beach last weekend have shaken every Australian. There is no place for hate or violent extremism in Australia. We note with pride the actions of Livesavers from North Bondi SLSC and the Bondi Surf Bathers SLSC (yes Bondi has two clubs!). Their actions during and after the events saved many lives. Surf Lifesavers don't train for mass-shootings, but they know how to stay calm under pressure, communicate, apply first aid and liase with authorities. Lifesavers are incredible assets to any community - and its why we have established the GPBSLSC. We need you to make it happen - if you'd like to become a lifesaver, or just become a member to support the club, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are a community club - your club!
